Dr. Hodkinson Boldly Claims COVID is a “Hoax”

According to Children’s Health Defense, “Dr. Roger Hodkinson, MA, MB, FRCPC, FCAP, CEO and medical director of Western Medical Assessments, spoke at the Edmonton City Council Community and Public Services Committee meeting on Nov. 13 about the city’s move to extend its face-covering bylaw. He was listed as speaker number 95 on the meeting agenda.”

During the zoom meeting he made a bold declaration that quickly went viral, while being discredited by the Elite and COVID fearmongerers nearly as expediently; without substance, only degradation of his credibility and achievements along his career path and YouTube slowly removing the clips of his monologue.

Dr. Hodkinson indignantly claimed, “This is the greatest hoax ever perpetrated on an unsuspecting public.”

Dr. Roger Hodkinson received his medical degrees from Cambridge University in the United Kingdom. He was certified by the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada as a pathologist in 1976, and was once a Chairman of the Examination Committee in General Pathology for the Royal College of Physicians of Canada. He is a Fellow of the College of American Pathologists. He has had a long career that took him to different fields within Pathology, practicing as a general practitioner in the UK and Canada, a staff pathologist at the Misericordia Hospital, Edmonton, Alberta, and pathologist with the Medical Examiner’s Office in Edmonton determining cause of death.

He spent time as an Assistant Professor in the Faculty of Medicine at the University of Alberta. He was the Medical Director of a CLIA-certified laboratory, and he also acted as a laboratory accreditation inspector. Dr. Hodkinson is a past President of the Alberta Society of Laboratory Physicians. Also in Alberta, he was the CEO of Stirrat Laboratories, a large retail diagnostic medical laboratory.

He is currently MutantDx’s Executive Chairman. MutantDx‘s tagline is the “liquid biopsy company”, and he has put publications out in the Journal of Solid Tumors. It almost appear as though MutantDX bought MultiGEN. The current website for MultiGEN is under construction, however, MutantDX has the technologies I find on the archived MultiGEN site.

However, he is still MultiGEN’s Director of Medical Affairs. On the MultiGEN site there are a plethora of medical journal publication of which he was a partner in. There, in the interest of advancing technology to better connect different cancers to their proper treatments via testing, he helped create (in his words), “MultiGEN’s technology to test much more effectively for the presence or absence of other common tumor mutations such as EGFR, KRAS and, KIT that predict for better treatment outcomes with Tarceva, Iressa, Erbitux, Gleevec and, similar drugs.”

Dr. Hodkinson is the sitting Executive Chairman of Bio-ID Diagnostic Inc., a private company commercializing patented technologies in DNA diagnostics (that happens to make the PCR tests for COVID-19).

The greatest significance of the bold statements he makes in the following video, was that Dr. Hodkinson is that as the Chairman of biotech firm selling COVID tests he says the whole thing is a hoax..

Dr. Hodkinson’s statements were made during a discussion on Nov. 13th involving the Community and Public Services Committee about the face-covering bylaw in Edmonton being extended by the city. He did not sound unsure of himself, in fact, he sounded quite confident in what he was saying; you could hear the frustration clinging to his tone, and acknowledged from the get-go that such talk would cause some to instantly call him a “quack”.

He briefly gave some credentials, to convey that as a pathologist he was also an expert in virology. Dr. Hodkinson pointed out that his role as CEO of a biotech company that manufactures COVID PCR tests more than hinting with, “you might say I know a little bit about all this.”

“The bottom line is simply this: There is utterly unfounded public hysteria driven by the media and politicians. It’s outrageous. This is the greatest hoax ever perpetrated on an unsuspecting public. There is absolutely nothing that can be done to contain this virus. Other than protecting older, more vulnerable people. It should be thought of as nothing more than a bad flu season. This is not Ebola. It’s not SARS. It’s politics playing medicine and that’s a very dangerous game.”

Hodkinson remarked that, “social distancing is also useless because COVID is spread by aerosols which travel 30 meters or so before landing.” Reminding us that there can be terrible, debilitating, unintended consequences caused by COVID restrictions such as keeping people in enclosed spaces in lockdowns, “everywhere should be opened tomorrow as well as was stated in the Great Barrington Declaration that I circulated prior to this meeting.”

Masks are utterly useless. There is no evidence base for their effectiveness whatsoever. Paper masks and fabric masks are simply virtue-signaling. They’re not even worn effectively most of the time. It’s utterly ridiculous.
Seeing these unfortunate, uneducated people — I’m not saying that in a pejorative sense — seeing these people walking around like lemmings, obeying without any knowledge base, to put the mask on their face.

Dr. Hodkinson went on to say, “and a word on testing: I do want to emphasize that I’m in the business of testing for COVID. I do want to emphasize that positive test results do not, underlined in neon, mean a clinical infection. It’s simply driving public hysteria and all testing should stop. Unless you’re presenting to the hospital with some respiratory problem.

All that should be done is to protect the vulnerable and to give them all in the nursing homes that are under your control, give them all 3,000 to 5,000 international units of vitamin D every day which has been shown to radically reduce the likelihood of Infection.”

“I would remind you all that using the province’s own statistics, the risk of death under 65 in this province is one in 300,000. One in 300,000. You’ve got to get a grip on this.”

He concluded his short speech with pointing out how insanely out of control the lockdowns are saying, “the scale of the response that you are undertaking with no evidence for it is utterly ridiculous given the consequences of acting in a way that you’re proposing. All kinds of suicides, business closures, funerals, weddings etc. It’s simply outrageous! It’s just another bad flu and you’ve got to get your minds around that.

Let people make their own decisions. You should be totally out of the business of medicine. You’re being led down the garden path by the chief medical officer of health for this province. I am absolutely outraged that this has reached this level. It should all stop tomorrow.”

This is a civil war between Communism and America. There is no more Democrat vs Republican right now. America needs to be united in the party of Patriots who believe in our constitution and the inherent right to Life, Liberty, and the Pursuit of Happiness.

The radical Left has thrown their hail Mary, and we need to get our heads in the game and intercept that pass before it’s too late. Whether or not you believe Orange Man Bad, The Republicans who followed President Donald J Trump are the only hope for remaining a constitutional republic.
